For me, creating art is a wonderful way to forget time and surrender completely to the moment. Silence is my dialogue partner, in which I arrive completely with myself and experience the world around me in all its fascinating facets. It is in this silence that my paintings unfold, arising from a deep joy in experimentation and a curious desire to discover. I love experimenting with different materials and techniques, and it is this variety that constantly opens up new possibilities for me. I use different media such as encaustic, swamp lime, etched metal and epoxy resin.
‘Mixed media’ is my guiding principle, and there are endless ways to reach the goal, which only emerges through the design.
I never plan my paintings in advance because I believe that the creative process should be a balance between control and letting go. It's like exploring something unspeakable that allows me to stay authentic and continue my search for spirituality and connection to God.
I think that the meaning of any art is ultimately determined by the individual perspective of the viewer. Only then does it take on its unmistakable meaning, because this is where fantasy and reality meet and a new consciousness emerges.
